Privacy Policy

This policy explains what happens to your information when you buy Every Mile Was Yours at everymilewasyours.com. It is written in plain language on purpose.

What we collect

When you place an order we receive your name, your email address and your billing details. Your card number is handled by Shopify and its payment providers — we never see it and we never store it. We also see the ordinary information a website receives, such as the pages visited and the type of device used.

What we use it for

To send you the book, to answer questions about your order, to handle a refund if you ask for one, and to keep the records that tax rules require. If you tick the box at checkout we may also email you about new work. You can unsubscribe from that at any time and it will never affect your access to the book.

Who else sees it

Shopify, which runs this store and its checkout, and the payment provider that processes your payment. The Digital Products app sends your download link. We do not sell your information to anyone, and we do not share it for advertising.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept as long as the law requires, and then deleted. You can ask us to delete anything we are not required to keep.

Your rights

You can ask what information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email us and we will deal with it.
